Took over this project and recovered six weeks of potential schedule delay. Saved $400,000 in Value Engineering.
T-10, Oakland, California [$60,000,000] – Type III Direct Reports: 5 (1 PM, 2 PE, 1 Project Accountant, 1 Superintendent), Indirectreports: 10 Concrete Podium plus 6-story, 252 Unit, steel stud and metal brace frame structure building. The project included 412,000 SF of living area, suspended swimming pool, gym, common areas and storefront retail spaces. Organized the Project Management Office (PMO), trained project staff, planned and implemented risk response, analyzed bids, and awarded and managed over $60,000,000 worth of subcontracts.
Mammoth Hospital Orthopedic Facility, Mammoth Lakes, California [$4,000,000] – Type IV Direct Reports: 4 (2 PE, 1 Project Accountant, 1 Superintendent), Indirect reports: 5 A hard-bid, fair-wage project with approximately 20,000 SF, two levels of steel moment frame and glue-laminated structural beams over Post Tension slab with wood stud framing, Elevator Lobby, Reception Lounge, Doctors’ offices, a Therapy pool, X-Ray facility, Conference room, Exam rooms, Gymnasium, and covered parking garage. Took over this project and mitigated $250,000 potential loss.
